So If I'm in an ice fishing house do I want the front - or the pointed narrow part of the transducer to face me? I would want the middle section only in the cone which I believe is transducer on down image. Is that correct? Thank you in advance. Love the videos.

When you switch from forward to down mode do you also adjust the transducer on the pole? I'm new to livescope and just got the LVS 34. I'm trying to figure out how the transducer should be setup on the pole for forward vs down mode while ice fising.

One other tip/suggestion you could do with the circular cutouts . Make a "hinge " out of the tape and hinge each one . That way, you have little to no chance of losing or misplacing them and can still do all the things you showed in the video ...Just a thought..

What are you suppose to do if you only have a down scanning fish finder and an underwater camera, not a $3000 live scope??
@tjsguideservice6 күн бұрын
Pick a spot and pray 🙏 😉 no, that’s how we used to target crappie all the time! Pick an area, drill out a big grid and hole up with your flasher until they are under you! Just a little more work. Or you can pick a high percentage area and wait until the school moves through
@rvz776 күн бұрын
@tjsguideservice being able to see underwater in any particular direction for a decent distance is remarkable. But that price tag is feasible for individuals who use it to sustain a career or fish constantly.

@@tjsguideservice I'm finally going to grab a scope. Thinking I'll get Echomap UHD2 93sv screen with a 32 ducer; new ice bundle for $1800. Sort of doing a 0 - 60 scoping acceleration instead of 0 - 100, and like one that'll be a bit lighter, as I plan to get a lithium 15AH or so battery right away too. Seems like that level of scoping will satisfy and be an amazing toy/ tool. Am I a fool to not get a 34 ducer right away? Price seems so good, and I can upgrade ducer in the future.

Did Arc Lab sponsor you and give you all the hardware? Nice setup, but you've now got more money in mounting hardware than you do in the livescope. My question is, why not just link all your screens together with a cable for under 50 bucks and run the same livescope view on all 3 units.
@tjsguideservice9 күн бұрын
I received some of the product from arclab and also paid for some of it. The main reason is you can’t link hummingbird and garmin units… I only have one Garmin unit the rest are HB and want to keep it that way so because HB has the best SI and Garmin has the best FFs
@artr3619 күн бұрын
@tjsguideservice I've gone with 3 Lowrance units. Nmea cabled all 3 together. Active Target 2 is as good as the Garmin 2 or better. Not being sponsored or comped hardware so... The biggest upside IMO of having the same head units is not having 2 different companies screen menu's, when needing to make changes.
