Some days, absolutely yes 😂 But there are ways to help reduce the amount you lose. Sensitivity of your setup is a huge benefit. I fish canals with a very light setup, and a sensitive rod, so I tend to feel snags early and before I’ve properly buried the lure in to it. There’s also ways of removing them without losing them. Difficult to explain in text form. Maybe I’ll do a video on it.

No idea I’m afraid mate. Unless I see signs, I usually just fish with a bit of cash in my pocket to pay a bailiff if a day ticket is required.
