HOW TO: Catching BIG redfish in the WINTER on Hilton Head Island (This simple rig slays)

A local angler took me out on his small skiff for some creek fishing on Hilton Head Island. We were using a simple rig ( knocker rig) fishing bottom with shrimp. We managed to catch some absolutely amazing fish. Michael also hooked into a GIANT creek Redfish! Enjoy the action and the battles! In the winter redfish become very slow depending on water temperature. So presenting something easy for them to eat can be the secret to bringing in a big redfish!

Awesome channel ! Fellow Ohioan here, Just subscribed. We go to HHI every year. Any tips on how to find the public access places to fish ? Also where can you buy the Mud minnows you were using for bait ? Great Videos thanks for posting !

no problem Joe. The thing about HHI is that there are not many public places you can fish from shore. If you go to google maps you can find some public access piers and boat ramps. You can get bait at southern drawl outfitters.. appreciate you stopping by and watching. Ill have another video up soon
