I was in Sydney to loading drilling equipment and thought I'd do a video showing how I chain and strap it up.

If I dont have any time pressure and I don't need to move the truck to get out of peoples way I love chaining down/strapping complex loads. Chains are actually enjoyable to use, especially when using that style ratchet. Great video.

Ive only chained drums but I have always given the chains a good whack with me bar before doing a final tighten,, seems to help

Hi from France,a nice little load of general freight, complete with dogs and chains,well back in my day there were only dogs and chains ,not forgetting the little "half hitch" to tie down both front and back gates,with that little 8'×4' little tarp to cover the general tarps and curtain tarps...
