How to Change a Starter/Generator Belt in a Golf Cart - Club Car

Starter Generator belt replacement in a 1993 Club Car golf car. Same process for Yamaha, EZGO, many other year!
Drive belt comes off first, then loosen the bolts for the starter, then remove and replace the generator belt!

Use a 1/2 socket with long extension from drivers side of cart to get the lower nut.

Cut out the most important/hardest part. Prying the generator into place where the belt is tight and getting the bolts tightened simultaneously

I wrapped a rope around the starter and wrapped the other end around a metal tube and pryed it up and it worked pretty well I hope I explained it good

First, get a second set of hands even if its ur kid to hold the prybar un place while u tighten the adjustment botls on starter gen.
