hello I ordered an oil change kit from you guys for my 2003 audi a4 3.0L and it happened to be the ravenol 5w-40 oil would that still be good to use? (haven't changed oil yet)

Hey Nico, the oil is usable as long as it is sealed and has been stored in a cool, dry location where no water or dirt could've gotten into the bottles. hello i have an audi a4 2004 and on some videos ive watched people have filled the oil filter itself with oil, is this neccessary?

Hi Amanda, In most cases filling the oil filter with oil can help minimize a dry start. Many Audi oil filters are mounted sideways or upside down on the engine which will not allow for the oil filter to be filled with oil. On most Audi oil change applications it is not required to fill the oil filter with oil. There usually is still some oil in the system that can support the lubrication of the engine until the new oil begins circulation. Filling the oil filter if possible is more important if the engine has been drained of oil for a long period of time. Such as weeks, months, or even years. how many liters for change oil? and is it ok if i use Mobil 1 5W-30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil?

As noted in the video its 6.4 liters for the B6 chassis Audi 3.0L engine. When choosing oil for the 3.0L V6 gasoline engine it is best to use a VW 502 00 approved specification oil. In most cases the readily available Mobil 1 5w30 doesn't have or state on the bottle that it has the VW 502 00 oil quality specification. Many times this means the oil doesn't meet Audi or Volkswagen's oil quality level. In the end it is always best to use an oil that is recommended by Audi Volkswagen and specifically states it on the bottle such as the RAVENOL HPS 5W-30 used in the video.
