Very clear instructions, but... If you are going to redo the video, I suggest that you add which way to insert the battery and to reinsert the battery tray. It took me several tries before I got it correct. It probably seems obvious to you, but frankly as I have only had to change the battery three times in the five years I own my A4, it is a new learning experience for me every time. I have a slide key and completely agree that it is unnecessarily difficult.

Thank you so much for this video! I found using a flathead screw driver sooo much easier than the metal key thing to pop open the battery compartment on the 2021 A6 key fob.

Very useful video. I have the slim key with a 2020 A3 and the manual is not very clear. As others have said, it's an unnecessarily complicated way to change a fob battery, especially compared to other manufacturers. I was worried about breaking something inside the key and used a flat head screwdriver instead of the key.
