You push back the pistons before cleaning then. It would damage the seal of the caliper wtih all the dirt. Bad job here...

never use a screw driver to open the gap. Use brake pad separator tools to open the gap. You need to clean the piston first before you push backwards.

Looks simple. I'll throw some new pads on my Super Duke before my next track day. No excuse not to when it's that easy.

You did a couple of things the wrong way: /1 clean the caliper pistons before pushing them back 2/ never use a screw driver to push caliper pistons back 3/ never let the brake calipers to hang on the brake lines itself

Kevin McDonald Why?

Tisanai J i assume his comment comes from the fact that you pushed the dirty piston back into the caliper using the pads with a screwdriver. all the dirt on the piston went inside the caliper and that often causes the seals to fail.

Ducati Dude plus he spayed the brake cleaner all over the wheel and tire. Just too many incorrect methods for me....I guess I just baby my bike way more than average lol

How many torque the mechanic used. It clicks 4 times,if 15Nm,it means 60Nm. Too much. The tread at the Ohlin fork will damage.. better, dont go to this workshop...
