I read some online forums and they were confusing, because of the 2 beeps verbiage. So, I figured it out, and have finally had the opportunity to film and simplify the process, so everyone can have a visual guide as to how it is done. I see people doing it all the time. I personally have never tried it. My fear is burning up the gears from the run the wahoo would make. From my understanding, tanacom's don't do well under that kind of stress.

Thank you. You can use any car battery... just make sure you put it in a plastic case to keep splashing water off of it. Never hook it up to your boat battery. On a full charge, the battery should last all day.

And yes I can definitely show you how to know when you have a strike because there is no zinging out noise that it makes like a typical real when the fish is running. So when in Meters, it shows the m next to the numbers, but seems when in Feet, it does not show any indicator right, or was I not able to see it on the camera?

Thanks a million for watching and asking a great question. No you weren't missing anything. When the digital display is in meters it does have an m next to the number. When you have it set for feet there is nothing next to it it just shows the number. Thanks for asking glad I could clarify that for you.
