How to change Dirt 2 or 3 language from Russian to English!

Hey guys. I had the same problem with Dirt3 (i didn't have more than 3 files in language folder). So i found solution and tried it and it works! So follow me: Go to your Dirt 3 folder and open the"language" folder and do the following: 1) Rename the file "language_use.lng" to "language_use1.lng". 2) Then rename the file "language_eng.lng" to "language_use.lng" 3) Then rename the file "language_use1.lng" to "language_eng.lng". 4)The game will now run in english! FOR DIRT 2 ONLY- CHANGE TO ENGLISH ****For those who don't have additional language and speech files in game folder.***** 1. Download this lang patch dirt2_efigs_1_1.zip on gamershell 2. Go to language folder rename language_eng.lng to language_fre.lng 3. Go to speech folder rename en.nfs to fr.nfs 4. Go to HKEY Local Machine/Software/wow6432node/ codemasters/ dirt 2/language/ and change the language to fre 5. Run the game..

If you're like me and already have the language_eng.lng file in the "language" folder, just follow from step 4, worked perfectly for me

If you can't have the game in english, unninstal game, press setup, configuration, soft and components, select english :D

Or.. you can find Dirt 2 in Run -> regedit and change "language" from "rus" to "eng".

Sorry, but can't help you. Best advise for you is to download a different torrent and maybe you don't have to do all this headache :) When I downloaded few months ago Dirt3, it was in english already You can try to copy all files from language folder into "New Folder" and try to rename there (cause maybe game's trying to stop you doing it). Then delete others files in language folder, and copy from "New Folder" files into language folder. - I really don't know solutino for you issue :D

Can somebody upload the original language folder, please? My game whole in Russian except audio is in English.. I try to search Dirt 3 in regedit.. Found but don't have language reg... Only have (Default) and Locale... My Language folder have only English language.. And I am using Fenixx repack... Oh god, please help me..

copy paste the english file so you have english, and English (1) or something like that and then with english (1) do the same thing as he does for russia and rename the english file to russian i hope this works for you

@thewazirgila Good news, I managed to change My Dirt3 language to english.... It was caused the game was patched with RUS Patch.v 1.2.. So, I patched back the game with dirt3_patch_1.2.exe.. It works..
