the problem is the ball joint screw never comes off that easily, Renaults are such a pain in the butt, we need to dismantle half the car to do a simple job like an arm,... really

This is not the proper way. You should remove the front section of the subframe and support the radiator. After that you can easily take out the control arm.

These are a pain to replace but I've not had a major problem with mine in 14 years. I won't change the car unless it develops a fault.
