Hello shqipe i just wanted to ask u a question i just did full service to my s350 cdi 2011 oil filter fuel filter cabin filter oil etc all of it. After putting everything back together my cars idling is so bad and when accelerating it hesitates also now black smoke too the engine almost want to stop and like hiccups its undriveable engine light came on showing maf sensor? I never had this problems before the service what shall i do now any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Oh you mean to pre-fill the filter? All I did is turn the key to the second position and wait about 10 seconds and repeat it 3 times. This is not super necessary but you make sure that the filter has been pre-filled completely. That’s all.

By the book it says every 30,000 to 40,000 miles. I personally change it every 15,000.

Where do you get those clamps from? The ones you can reuse?

I got an assorted pack of sizes of clamps from Harbor Freight. But you can buy them all day on eBay or Amazon as well.

Well, with the pack you get almost all sizes and then you can pick whichever fits the best on the hose and then tighten up.

When fuel filter is removed, first make sure you connected the lines back in place. Second check for any leaks, very important even if you have the tiniest leak because the system works under pressure and third if everything is done correct, just give it some time to get filled up again with fuel because all lines are empty when the replacement is done, so a few engine starts will do the trick.

@@DJEvoIX then revert back to your old filter and install that for now. If problem is solved by using old filter, then there's something wrong with your new one...

@@DJEvoIX No I wouldn't recommend that but if you're going to do that then you're better off picking the filter out the trash and re-use it.
