Video shows how to replace a battery on a Casio G-Shock Mudmaster Watch, process is very simple, but you need the right watch maker tools.

★HEX screwdriver size 2.5mm (same as 3/32)
★Scrow Drivers size 0
★Antimagnetic Tweezer
★Plastic Tweezer
The battery type is SR927SW Two batteries (same as 395/399) etc. You can use batteries made by Renata, Sony, Maxell, etc

What happens if u do or don't? I just bought one of these watches and I'm really curious about this. I'm going to need to change the batteries and I see vids of ppl resetting the watch and vids where ppl don't. Can it be harmful to not reset it?

when you change the battery,is it still water resistant when you dive deep down the ocean?

Normally after changing the battery, water resistant become weak. But if you give new gasket it will be strong again .

@@merkyboholst9938 if they have a pressure chamber they can put it on original water resistance, but most unlikely... and i am not sure how many divers use that Casio for deep diving because there are other better watches for that... So for normal use it is enough...

the gasket isn't in place correctly after changing the battery. It's out of line on the left side. so the watch won't be water resistant. Hope it's yours and not of a customer🙈

It depends on. It's not necessary for all time. It's better to do most of the time.

@@SolimBD thats so weird, had another old casio with batterylife of about 11 years...... and damn, i washed that one several times because i forgot it in my workingtrousers... still working until the very end after 16 years having it, just a second battery for the last 5 years of use.... and this one, 2 batteries empty after jsut 2 years? want the old Casio back! Have to buy batteries and gonna change by myself now.

You didn't put the seal correctly into it's crevice. This can compromise the watches water resistance. Fail.

What is that last adjustment for? When it says ‘Sub’... is it to adjust the smaller ring to basically 12? Pretty dramatic for a battery change.

Quick question -did it ever happened to you to set up the time,the date(month,day,year) ,synchronize everything properly and after a few days to find the watch not keeping the time right? Instead of showing the right day and time to be behind?
