Thank you!! Made the switch of both headlamps in less than 25 minutes at 7 months pregnant! Easy and well explained with clear shots. Would have fumbled more with the contact if you hadn't shown me how to do it, especially as mine was a bit sandy.

It's easy getting the lamp out, but I always struggle putting the new one back in, especially as once the holes didn't quite match up leaving a gap between the frame and lamp, so water could have gotten between the lamp and body and potentially getting important electric components wet. I ended up returning the new lamp for another new one which fitted fine, so that's something to be aware of if you are replacing old lamps with new ones

to take your bulb out undo the dust cover and turn it counter clock wise , also you dont undo screws with a flat screwdriver these bolts are a t30. torx. bit. mainly i just wanted to see if i put mone back in correctly.

Thx for info! I replaced low/high today with led & so super easy but high beam is trickier & I just couldn't figure out how to remove that one connector to headlight assembly but thx for showing me with just using screwdriver to unlock the connection.

The “clip” on the connecting cable in my car broke. I couldn’t find a way to disconnect it. Ended up changing the light without disconnecting the assembly. How dumb/dangerous was my decision to do so? Just curious for next time. Thanks.

Not very dangerous in my opinion. Of course, when the car is the Ford, there is always a risk that the car will stop on the side of the road due to an electrical fault. Then you just have to call a Toyota Land Cruiser to tow the Ford to the pit...

I did everything i needed to do to replace bulb but the assembly seems to have a little gap on bottom when i put it all back on car so wondering if somthing is causing this that im missing?

maybe id give a thumbs up if you took the damn light bulb out and showed how to put it in... my lightbulb has wores like connected to it. you only showed how tp take the headlight plastic off... not change it...

Those connectors break so often that it's helpful to know how they work incase they fail. Swapping a bulb is pretty easy
