good job. I usually mark the tire to the stem location before removal. This enables you to check the tire as well in case you have a thorn, nail or other object that has punctured tube. That way you don't poke a hole in a new tube. Keep up the good work.

Thats a great tip thanks for that!

Great video. Also a dad here, Just got a mint XR50 with a California title for my 3&5 year old! Has a flat rear tire from sitting. I’ve done it before but just wanted to make sure I didn’t ruin/break anything. Perfect step by step hope you still have your 50!!!

Very cool! Nice to have an XR50, have fun!

Just wanted to say thanks very much for this video. I did all of the work on my sons CRF myself. I did the oil, spark plug, tightened the handle brake, and did the back tire. You saved me a lot of money, lol, Greatly appreciate it!

great video! thank you. I would suggest soapy water while using the spoons to work the tire off the rim.

Great video. What is the tube and the tire tool set you used to take out tire from the rim?
@munghini2 жыл бұрын
So the new tire tubes come with 2nuts and 1 of those concave washers. To clarify, that washer and one of those nuts goes inside the tire??
@somecooney53046 ай бұрын
Yeah, same question here. It's not clear to me. It doesn't seem like the one nut goes inside the rim. That being said, just changed this tube recently, and it sheared off at the valve stem. I guess that's why these come in a 2 pack, haha!

Can someone help me please? I have a Honda CRF50! Do I mix the fuel or do I just use regular non mixed fuel? I don’t really know much about bikes but I’m just getting into the hobby
@awong3214 жыл бұрын
Non mixed fuel preferably non ethanol. Mixed gas is for 2 strokes.

Are these tires harder to get off than a bike tire off a bike rim? wondering if i can use my plastic tire levers for my mtn bike
@Chris.Lewis1456 Жыл бұрын
Followed this procedure and still pinched the tube at the end. Tried again and same thing happened. what am i doing wrong lol. Waiting on new tubes to come in tomorrow.
@BenjaminMarquez-q2g7 ай бұрын
Your inserting the tool too far into the tire. Insert it just enough to grab the the bare minimum to grab onto the tire. Don’t push down on the tire unless you are sure the tube is not between the tool and the tire.
@TurbroLife3 жыл бұрын
Little hint, you want to air up the tube first to make sure there aren’t any holes before you put it i the tire
@TheRykerDane3 жыл бұрын
Well its a new tire. Also if you put air in it then it will be hard to get in the tire and around the rim
@TurbroLife3 жыл бұрын
TheRykerDane kk I actually just did exactly what you did today, replaced the tubes

I have an issue with rear suspension link, I'm trying to remove the bolts but there is one I can´t take out, it holds the "triangular" link to the swingarm, I noticed there are two welded washers that doesn´t allow the bolt to move out, could you give me an advice on how to remove that bolt? Thanks for your help in advance... Have a nice day!!!

what is the amazon link for the inner tube you used?
Changed my inner tube when I installed back the drum brake brakes after letting off gas any suggestions?

The nut actually needs to butt up to the valve stem cap not the rim. That's why the other one ripped off!

@xscape8884 жыл бұрын
Brakekleen is the brand I believe. It’s normal brake cleaner found at most auto stores and Walmart’s
@TheRykerDane4 жыл бұрын
you can use just about any brake cleaner.
@78_CDV3 жыл бұрын
@@xscape888 you’re not supposed to use brake clean and brake pads or brake drums because it will make the material soft and disintegrate over time more excessively than normal wear
