Hi, I was wondering if I were to play a dvd with an encoded full screen (4:3) screen ratio, would the player automatically have the picture stretch out to a widescreen (16:9) format? And if so, would I have to manually go into the picture settings to rectify the problem (switching between 4:3 and 16:9)? In the last two region free players I’ve purchased, I’ve constantly had to do this and it’s become an annoyance imo.

My UP875 LG Blu-Ray DVD player is hooked up to a model 43UK6300PUE LG television that comes with at least15 different apps including Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Sling, Web Browser, HDMI 3, User Guide, Bluetooth, etc. When you take the disc out of the DVD player, the DVD player displays a gray screen which says "No Disc" for one second and immediately after that a menu is displayed asking you to choose between Movie, Photo, Music, or Settings. This menu allows you to press "Enter" to select either Movie, Photo, Music, or Settings. I need to keep the screen which says "No Disc" for more than one second if I'm going to change the Region Code on my DVD Player. Do you have any advice?

The player I have is the LG DP132 from January 2018. Anyways, I put the disk in my computer and a screen came up right away where I could pick the region. on the ps4 you can change the region code 4 times then is locks, can you do this unlimited times or is it once you pick 0 it becomes region unlocked for all regions ?

Do you know, by any chance, a region free hack for the LG BP250 as well? would be much help. All my dvd players through the years were region free with an easy fix as this as well. Just bought the BP250 player because they told me it would be region free, but doesn't play region A disks when it's from the factory. i know there is a fix, but i don't know it xD
