@@lrac_1 I found out how to change driver side you gotta take tire off and the plastic in that area and you can change it. Any other way harder and could break parts or still won’t have room but that way easiest

Hi. Thank you kindly from the UK. I could see from the handbook how to get the bulb+holder out, but the book didn't say anything about how to separate the bulb from the holder. Once I followed your advice to use a small screwdriver it was easy. There are other videos for this task, but all the other ones I've found are for the pre-facelift W204s. Those have a spring clip arrangement, and look like they need a bit more manual dexterity to change. Mines'a a late 2013 facelift, has the removable bulb holder as on here. Much easier to change, once I used the screwdriver advice. Also, didn't know about not touching the lamp glass, doesn't mention that in the handbook - used some disposable gloves. I'll replace the other bulb now, if one's gone the other won't last much longer. Will probably only take me 5 mins thanks to this video. As an aside, last time I had to change a headlamp bulb was on a 1997 W202 model. That could only be done with double-jointed fingers!

Forgive me, but I'm shocked...you being a "mechanic" & stated he did this wonderful job. He failed to mention to keep an eye on the "O" ring/rubber washer that has the tendency to fall off the cap when you pop it off. *2ndly,* although most will be able to remove the cap, it's COUNTER-clockwise to remove it, not clockwise. *3rdly,* he failed to note to NOT touch the bulb with bare hands.

Turn cap counter clockwise to open. Imagine looking at cap from back to front. If it was an analog clock face, which way would hands turn? That is clockwise.

Ya got your clocks mixed up buddy.. counterclockwise is right to left. You turned it the right way but called it "clockwise"

?????????????? Turn it CLOCKwise to get it out? LOL...NOT! My '08 is NOT easier...there are CLIPS of sort holding the bulb in. It will NOT just twist to remove/insert.
