How to Change MG Midget Spark Plugs

Very good tips on checking the plug gap out of the box and fitting dry by hand at first. You could just remove one HT lead and replace one plug at a time to save labelling HT leads. A comment only, it looks like there might be an electronic ignition or at least some overlong black and red wires that could perhaps be shortened or tided more, cable-tied (hopefully not on HT lead(s)) with untrimmed end.

Went with the NGKs eh? I was told by my dad to use the air compressor and blow out the area around the plug holes to get rid of any debris. That stuck with me over the years. I use that technique about 10% of the time... I'm sure Dave would agree.

@@AndysMGAdventures we are fortunate, the house we bought about 14ish years ago had been built with air lines plumbed from the basement to three points. One behind the basement which is entirely useless, one to the outside of the back of the garage, more useful and one right in the garage that we use all the time. They all have quick connects on them too. They also put a dedicated 20amp electric circuit in the basement next to that pipe when they built the house. Recently, i upgraded to a quiet compressor which is handy too. It's a surprise when it runs but doesn't shake the house down. Then added a hole reel in the garage. The upgrades came when different jobs had to be done and I did them myself instead of paying a shop. Figuring I could spend the same money, but wind up with upgraded tools.
