I’ve owned the same qaud I bought brand new I have over 7000 km 700 hours and still running strong ,changed a few wheel bearings , I serviced it regular but other then that it’s great , you bought a great machine guy 👍👍👍

Was there a washer in between the spring and the oil filter from the factory?

Since I didn't buy the quad brand new, I can't be positive, but the parts diagram indicates that, yes, there should be a washer between the spring and the oil filter. Probably not the end of the world if you don't have it, but a good idea to (in order to keep the spring from wearing through the filter face).

@@TheWaytoNativeChronicles Also better to not take the bolt all the way out then pry the cover to drain then loosen bolt and pull off filter. It will all Stay together.
