Great video! Straight to the point and even includes the oil reset procedure! However... (1.) the size socket used for removing the oil plug was not mentioned. *[Although Google tells me 16mm]*; this has not always been the size I have come across. (2.) I didn't hear the name of the last button pushed to reset the oil life. Your excellent camera man showed me that you indeed pushed a different button from the first button you mentioned! In your defense, the last button to push is very obviously labeled 😉 P.S. ~ thank you for not wasting my time with a long, drawn out video as I am now wasting your time with this long, drawn out comment!

Ah, so that's where the filter is. Just got my 2011 Expedition and plan on doing as much maintenance myself as I can. What do you think of putting a disposable puppy training pad under the filter to reduce the mess when removing it?

Lots of people recommend 5w-30 oil viscosity because of the cam phaser failure due to low oil pressure. Is this true or not?

I have an '08 F150-4WD with the 5.4-3V. Beneath the filter is a drip tray that diverts the oil away from the frame in the forward direction. This customer must've removed theirs.

Oil filter should not be tightened with a wrench. Just hand tight.

Ah, no need to apply filter wrench and over-torque a newly installed oil filter. Read the labeling on the filter - usually 1/2 once seated.

You better make sure you don't go too long between oil changes on these trucks, (cam phasers) oh and use 5W30 oil not the suggestion on the cap 5w20. Trust me
