Iam working on these cars, the bolts that holds the caliper carrier is very stubborn, to say it mildly, so instead loosen the bearing seemto be a good idea, yes! Thanks!!😁

I did not succeed to take off the disc without having loose those stubborn bolts on the back, and the car needs to be lifted without lift helpless, how to loosen the bearing? With the disc still in place? I managed to loosen the bearing bolt M18 and force, but it came, to pull loose the bearing tough.....

do you need to plug in the obd if you have electronic parking brake cause i have the vw passat c3 2008 bluemotion with electrical handbrake. i really want to do things like this myself but i'm affraid i will mess up.something with the parking brake ...^^

You don't need laptop loosen the electric motor find a bit that fits the wheel on the caliper, turn clock vise untll it stops, use 5-56 on rubber, make sure you oil between rubber and piston, then push and turn it in, when job finished start car, hold brakes, turn on parking brake, the electric motor will humm a little bit and then it's set very easy job. T

Completetly USLESS..... You cannot get rotor off this way .Will not BEND TO REMOVE . Notice that part of the video SKIPS over getting it out , just shows it already out . NOT POSSIBLE.
