How much would this job cost at a mechanic? My spring snapped in three places and shattered thankfully it didnt pierce the tires, but I actually got such a fright when it made the loudest bang ever i thought my heart stopped

Hi! I bought a set of used original springs for a MK2B Sporting 1.4 2004. (I hope so). Springs have markings on them: 2 yellow and 1 pink on the front and 2 yellow and 2 pink on the rear. Does anyone know if they are the correct springs ?

just jack the rear end onto axle stands and use a hydraulic jack to raise the rear suspension arms car doesnt need to be 6ft off the ground on a two post lift

@@unnamed7570 You can get a hydraulic gearbox jack for 100€ and a car lift for 1300€. We arent in the 20th century anymore, stuff is cheap now.

Why not undo the top 15mm bolt instead? Wouldn't that be just as easy?
