you don't really need to take the caliper carrier off on a mk2 that doesn't have the larger Cupra type rear caliper, remove caliper and pads and just waggle out the disc/rotor then waggle the new one in, saves you loosening those pesky M14 caliper carrier bolts.

Isn't the bolt that secures the bearing bolted at 180nm plus 180° turn?

all the sources i read for this chassis; Seat, VW, Audi and Skoda say it is torque to yield 180nm + 180°

It’s 30mm. I had the same issue because parts store confused me and offered both sizes on my VIN, unfortunately I ordered 32mm and it’s too big.
