march 2021.. this method still works.. i just did on my 41mm galaxy3 watch change region from egypt to malaysia. now samsung pay works.. just want to add in the sdb folder you need to click install.bat and before running ansicon, you need to click sdb-run.bat Works for me. thank you for the tutorial

You can try changing region to US, South Korea or UK. sometimes the changing region process is not successful, after you changed the region you can try and delete the sdb files and run as if its the first time you pull the files to check if its working

Followed step by step. Had to pause alot through the ap/csc part. But I switched from XAC to XAR. I can now gain access to some features I couldn't even force before( like I did with the ECG and BP widgets), eg; stress widget etc. Very helpful. Thanks a bunch. Hi guys! After struggling for a while, I've realized that if your issue is to change region WITHIN EUROPE, the process is much much SIMPLER. You just need to enter Recovery from the Download Menu and there you get to choose multiple EU countries. I had a German CSC watch3 and needed to change to Spanish Region. This worked like a charm! And needless to say that it's much safer than installing rooted stock versions. I had struggled previously trying to launch the SDB launch_app csc-manager.csc-pre-configuration app and it would say 'ok' but nothing would appear on the watch. I believe due to the latest Tizen versions in watches this app simply would not show up.

Was nervous going into this but just watch the video carefully and do as he says and it worked perfectly for me. I bought an Australian model that actually turned out to be a UAE/XSG so samsung pay wouldn't work. Luckily this video came up in my recommended list, youtube got something right for once. Another silver lining is when replying to messages with voice it would keep telling you to change language to default, no longer does this now. Thanks very much

I'm moving in 4 months and am wondering if you change region from "A" to "B" now, and want to later change it from region "B" to "C" later, would you have to do the entire set of steps or could you just start from editing the "csc-active-customer.inf" and "prodcode.dat" files when you need to change the region the second time? Worked. Great with the 45mm watch. From Canada there's no blood Oxygen, and that's what I wanted. (Many people in Canada just return these, so you can pick them up at at $80-120 discount online) After the following the video, I had to reconnect to my phone again and I lost my previous settings. Then I was asked to update my firmware which I did and I had blood Oxygen feature working. This is a little tricky but video does have all the steps even if goes fast. I've worked in firmware before so I'm familiar with this type of update. Here are my tips running from windows 10: Unzip everything before you begin, including the rar files. You may need to go into the directory after the first unzip and make sure all the files here are also unzipped. I used '7-zip' for this. When you connect to the watch on Wi-Fi select the properties in the Wi-Fi connected screen and make sure its a private connection. In the last step you need to load 3 files from the "Stock Firmware" in NetOdin. They are in the 'Stock Firmware*' directory. Just match the starting letters of the file name to the NetOdin options (AP -> AP, BL -> BL CSC -> CSC)

It works, the process is pretty long, don't get afraid when you see red text after flashig combinaton files, just wait for the watch to boot up. Follow the instructions in the video and it should work. PS: like I said if it works I will donate and I did :-). Thank you.

For the combination software I notice the file type you select is md5. However the one within the link provided is .7z file which is not recognized by the odin software? So I am assuming the software in your link is not correct for the galaxy watch3? Do I therefore have to download one of the SM-R840 files from the site you link to? I went through the whole process, including changing country code to XAR and pushing the files again. Afterwards,i got an update, but there is NO Blood oxygen, ECG etc. I tried adding blood oxygen widget from phone, but it would not show up in watch. I followed all the steps. I see you get an error when you push the two files with sdb. I got the same errors too. Edit: i was able to do it. In the video you put the sdb push commands together, and that is wrong demonstration of the process ( for laymen like me). You have to enter the commands one by one. You could have made the video a little more easier :)

US doesn't have the ECG and BP yet. it's supported on Tizen version 4.0.0.8 which is released in South Korea but not in the US. US version is still 4.0.0.6 because Samsung is waiting for FDA to approve ECG and BP.

I also have the KOO that I bought online. From my understanding, Korea has Samsung Pay but it might not have worked since the country detected on your phone and the country on the watch did not match. I asked Samsung and they said Samsung Pay does not work in Korea but the KR Samsung Pay website says otherwise. I also lost the Blood Oxygen Level which I'm a bit sad about but I prefer to use Samsung Pay for now. Just need to wait for the update on my country to get this feature again. I never noticed the ECG when my watch was set to Korea so I didn't get to try this one at all.

Thanks, working perfectly in Slovakia after changing region to UK, Curve card paired. Only issue I ran into was very last step - flashing stock BL, AP and CSC, it failed, watch error message was to restore in Kies, but last step repeated and second time flash complete, no issue anymore. Exactly, the video is not really very helpful. It should also tell you to turn off firewall, antivirus for successful odin connection.

Ecg and blood pressure is very easy to install, I wish we can install Samsung pay without changing region. I'm afraid my lte watch stops working

hi @technoproz when i enter first command sdb pull /csa/csc/csc-active-customer.inf ansicon shows me message error: target not found fatal: failed to open sync channel: connection fails - i did everything exactly how you describe in video...what should i do? :)

For those who are having trouble with R850 like me, I got it to work! You just need to download the latest combination and stock firmware version for your model. I got mine from fullstockfirmwaredownload but I paid a small fee for each file ($3) but it was a secure transaction and the files worked! Watch is now back to life :) Also thanks to the video creator

its weird i dont get access to ECG and BP, I live in Tijuana Mexico, right on the border to San Diego California, i installed the XAR version but maybe my phone as it is registered in Mexico Region thats whats stopping me to use the ECF AND BP, I managed to make the ECG work on with your other tutorial but not BP nor Samsung Pay
