Thanks for this! Great, easy to follow instructions. One note: for the passenger side bulb, it may help to loosen the battery holdown. You can move the battery about a 1/2" away from the bulb, which gave me all the extra room I needed.

Remember not to touch the bulb with your bare hand because of natural body oils. It will cause the bulb to burn out faster.

Thanks very much for these instructions. They made the job easy. However I will add that the red ring around the base of the bulb acts as a sealer. So it's much easier to put the bulb in first without the white lock ring. Here is the order... 1.) Push the red seal ring in so its snug and can hold the bulb in place all by itself. 2.) Then put the white lock ring in and turn it til it catches. 3.) Finally then plug the wire unit onto the bulb unit.

Don't try to do it with one hand. With halogen bulbs if you touch the glass of the new bulb it can leave oils behind from your skin and greatly shorten the life of the bulb.

White retainer ring doesn't screw or twist flush anymore. I was using tape to keep it secure while I ordered another set of rings and of course they do not screw on flush and sit locked in either. Anyone else have this?
