You’re doing a nice job showing the issues surrounding ownership of these trucks. I’ve had my 94 Chevrolet since October of 93. Those steering columns could create some work for a person and they always seemed to occur when I didn’t have time for it. Dimmer switches is what I remember being an issue. I’m needing a new steering column in my truck. Hoping to do a custom built swap to it. Currently working up a big bore L8T block with some LS3 heads to go on it. So far it’s been smooth with the exception of the timing set.

I had that same problem on my 90 obs just took the steering wheel off and tightened up the 4 bolts. Also the turn signal probably doesn’t work because there is a plastic thing inside that’s broken mine was cracked.

I was able to tighten the bolts on another one I did but this one the unjoint/rag joint or what ever it is was just wore out. And yes the clock spring is messed up for the turn signal
