You sure make removing the original strap look easy. I just tried it and it took about 15-20 minutes to get one end off then about the same just to put it back on. I was trying to practice because I have the nato strap ordered and expect it in a few weeks from Singapore or somewhere

I have a ton of practice. The condition of the springbars can dramatically increase the difficulty such as if they are soiled and/or corroded. I toss out old springbars and replace with new if they appear to have some problem with sticky operation. Hope all turned out well for you

JaysAndKays the nato strap I got was a one pierce and didn’t have any spring bar part. Had to send back for refund.

I’d love to see a video of you replacing all the other beat up portions like the s scratched up glass and silver ring. I want to know because I have a gw2310-1 that i want to black out like the gw 2310fb-1. I love the all black look but I hate the negative display.

I have a Casio GW2310 with the OEM resin band on it. I bought a plastic bracelet for it, but it doesn't seem to fit it properly. I watched you insert a pair of adapters and two-piece band onto your "beat up" 2310. I haven't seen anyone attach a combi-bracelet to a Gw2310, which is exactly what I want to do. I can't find the right parts, nor can I find any equivalent parts. Can you help me? Vernon.

The adapters are made by Jay's and Kay's. They make adapters for a lot of G Shock models. I bought mine from Jay's and Kay's ebay store. If you aren't sure which one to order you can message him and he will help you out.

I did this on my G2310. For some reason it was insanely hard and the spring bars kept slipping out. It took me about 30(!) tries but it finally went in. Not sure why.

if you have smaller sized wrist, you would want to get the option for classic nato instead of the longer zulu

You are correct. I think the guy who passed this down to me seems to have made certain repairs using 2310 pieces such as back cover. For the purpose of this strap kit, 2300 and 2310 are identical. Good catch though.
