hey man nice demo...but one thing what bothers me in case of G-7900 and DW-9052 and GD-350 we dont need this adapters...what if we insert the band underneath those wings and in DW-9052 between those rectangular rubber rings??????? For other models adapter is mandatory....please comment if I am wrong....

Certainly is one approach. The fit is tight underneath them and this makes it harder to reinstall the wings because screw/hole misalignment. My concern would be how strong the wings will be before tearing off. Let me know what you find out.

You can place the Wings back on after putting on the band, it looks stupid without it. Especially with the holes In the case

I haven't tried the Casio combi bracelet on 7900. But jaysandkays metal adapters for 16mm lug will fit without displacing the wings and will enable a bracelet, as seen in this pic from my IG: instagram.com/p/BmP-DJngzsP/

Can you put a GD-100 gshock strap on the G-7900? Because the OG strap on the 7900 is too short for my wrist.

Hey Jimmy. I tried swapping the straps between my GD100 and G7900 and it was no problem. But if you were referring to JaysAndKays GShock strap adapters, then yes, the adapters are great for either of those two models. Cheers, J

The procedure to do bezel swap on 6600 isn't significantly different than what you see here... remove the screws, peel the bezel off, put new bezel on, reinstall screws.

Hi Jose. Depends on the length of the short piece with keeper ring... meaning is it long enough to clear the other side of the watch after the added length of the adapters is introduced. Lengths vary depending on the maker, many are no problem but some are too short.

if you are referring to the 4 accent screws on the top corners of the bezels, yes. they just snap into place. you could remove the bezel then pop them out by pushing it from the backside of the bezel.

Yes, can leave wings off without affecting waterproof. Wings are exterior attachment and not any part of the case integrity.

Hi. If I recall correctly, what I did in this video was to take the red bezel from a positive display G7900 and put it on a negative display GW7900. So, didn't reverse the display... just moved the bezel across the two 7900 variations.

Hi Amr, As for what I know, the vast majority of GShocks have non-metal case... the case back cover is a metal cover, but the case body itself is not metal. As for any problems with the non-metal case, I know of some incidents with lugs breaking (mostly on certain models which use screws for the straps instead of springbars) but otherwise, durability is not a problem I have with my collection or that I know of to be any general issue. The case back screws thread into the plastic body.... no metal threaded insert.

Yes, that happens... the threads in the plastic body can be stripped, perhaps through frequent screw removal/reinstall or by someone incorrectly installing (cross-threading) or by overtightening the screw. But I also think it is not routine to open the case back, with most common reason being to change the battery perhaps. Many current GShock have estimated battery life of 5 years, so even this maintenance is quite infrequent. Just my thoughts that Casio design is reasonable with these things in mind. Others might have different opinions.

that's a good question. the different screw on the bezel is just cosmetic and so the bezels are interchangeable between those two, no problem, which you can see in the video. I have not exchanged modules so I don't know if internal case features are different. sorry I haven't an answer for you.
