Easy, Thanks for the video. CR2025 is the battery. Does not require programming after change. I have a 2014 Honda Odyssey.

Here is the REAL advice about removing the little Honda remote key screw This is the ABSOLUTE ADVISE do this and you will remove it nicely the first time, and keep the same screw forever, unless you really want to spend your money and buy a new one from the dealer for 2$, or worse reprogram a new key for $125 or more (Unless of course the head of the screw has been damaged already in which case you'll use a rotary tool to remove the head of this screw. The grinder bit or drill bit should be the same size as the screw body. Do not force it, do it gently until the head is gone, let the weight of the rotary tool do the job) If the head of the screw is OK and not stripped as it should be, then do this: Get a Q Tip cotton swab and put some W40 oil on it , then touch the head of the screw with it and, if you want, on the side near the screw where the black plastic touches the metal of the key and tilt the key and let the oil run towards the body of the screw. Not too much W40 oil . Wait 15 minutes and then get a Phillips precision screwdriver SIZE 00, secure the key down and insert the tip of the screw driver on the head of the screw as close to 90 angle as you can. Put a fair amount of pressure down on the screwdriver , not too much but also not wimpy, and then slowly but firmly start turning the screwdriver anti clock wise . You will notice the head moving a bit hard at the very beginning and then normal. Once the screw is out and you have separated the 2 plastic covers a little bit, DON'T continue to separate them all the way, but ratter pull the the one plastic cover w/ out the buttons toward the front of the key, and that will completely separate them. If you continue to separate them it will probably break the tab in the back, inside. ALL THAT OF HEATING THE KEY WITH A LIGHTER, HAIR DRYER, FLAME, SOLDERING PEN ETC TO LOOSEN THE LOCTITE , EXPAND THE METAL ETC, IS NOT NECESSARY., IF YOU DO AS ABOVE. I have done 9 of these Honda keys in the last 2 years and, and I did not mess up any of them REMEMBER : Precision screwdriver no. 00 not 0 or 000 Good luck

Thank you ... I tried using a jewler's phillips and I can't get that off. You mentioned loctite ... is that what they used on the original key?
