Hey.. Great video. Just a couple of questions though.. This method is realistically just drain/refill radiator an not the cooling system? Obviously if the coolant were to be complely removed/refilled then the air in the system would have to be removed (or air locks would possibly occur = overheating etc) Are there specific ways to run the engine and bleed out the air after a complete refill? Cheers again for a great video.

When I first purchased my bike my fan was binding on the radiator. You may be running into the same problem. I’m not sure it’s kind of hard to diagnose something like that when you’re not hands-on. But I would first check the fuse for the fan and make sure it’s not blown. And check and make sure that the fan is functioning properly and not binding on the radiator. I hope this helps.

Otherwise the owners manual says this.Engine Coolant: Use an anti-freeze/engine coolant compatible with an aluminum radiator, mixed with distilled water only. At least 50% anti-freeze with the water, and never more than 60% anti-freeze with the water. No alcohol based anti-freezes. Only ethylene glycol based anti-freezes.
