Excellent video! Is the tool used to center the tip commercially available? Also, is the radius tool available?

Thanks for not perpetuating the myth of using a razor blade to freehand the diameter of the new tip. I go 2 steps further to make sure i don't cut the vault plate: I leave the tape on n use an indicator on my tool post to take skin cuts (.001") with a sharp brazed tool until I just barely cut through the tape. That gets me within .001" Then I sand to blend. I also use a carbide form tool (.437R) to shape the tip, then an EVERLAST tool to finish. A vey repeatable process!

applying an adhesive at the side of the tip will drastically affect the proper hit of the tip, dont it?

I was told that all Revo tip replacements had to be done at an authorized Predator repair place otherwise the shaft warranty would be voided. This video would suggest that isn't true, can you confirm this?

Have you had any confirmation regarding your question? I was going to ask the same thing because I also hear the same thing.

@@kristiangreve9933 no response and haven’t received confirmation either way. Although our local repair guy who wouldn’t work on revos because of this now does.

Can this process be done by hand?

Why are two different types of loctite super glue mentioned in the beginning? Is the 495 only used to strengthen the side of the tip while the professional is used the rest of the time?
