The one we have all been waiting for what’s in the bag of Joshua Filler? We look at what break cue Filler uses, and what jump cue filler uses. There’s a few surprises in there including the weight of Joshua’s cue.
Germanys Joshua Filler won his first World Nineball Championship in 2018 defeating Carlo Biado who was the then defending champion. This was the first of a long list of Major trophies and titles.
Joshua “Killer” Filler has also been a stalwart in The Mosconi Cup since making his debut in 2017 at the age of 20, winning the MVP award as a rookie! Team Europes total domination of Team USA in the recent 2023 edition was also highlighted with Joshua’s third MVP award. Jason Shaw and Joshua have become leaders and key figures in Team Europe’s recent domination of the Cup.
How many titles has Joshua Filler won?

@@poolsicario5882 cue is not weak. has tons of inlays, additional wood removed. anyway when you have thousands of blanks to choose from, they picked the lightest weight blanks to start. I asked Ray Schuler for a European Shaft at 110 grams, He said I dont think I have one that light, but he did. Consider shafts, anywhere from 3 ounces to 4.5 ounces. thats a 50% difference on a small piece of wood, shaft. PLus to get weight down, not structurally, they can turn down the diameter of the front butt, and how thin is the entire butt diameter, PEncil Thin Butt? And cue can be cored with a lighter material than maple, or an extremely dried out Maple, Kiln Dried, Pull all that moisture out.

Jump cues should be illegal. You should have to jump with one cue. If you pick a cue for the game that’s the one you should have to shoot with. A bridge is fine as it was always part of the game. And it’s not the players fault if they can’t reach.

His cue looks thinner to me. That would explain how it's so light. I played with a light playing and break cue for a while. Better feel and more velocity for the break. Thicker break shafts can handle the velocity.
