I'm using borg and beck brake products for the 1st time are they any good mate they seem well packaged and weighty

What grease did you use for the slide pins?

Use synthetic grease NOT copper on the pins and pads. It has a much higher temp range. Copper ease is a anti seize compound it is NOT a lubricant.
