*How to* change the front suspension/ control arm BMW E60/61

Welcome to Pt.12 of the #Saveabmw series. Wobbly wheels return. Today we replace the front lower control arms on my 525d #E61 #BMW with only 93,000 miles on the clock.

Die it today on my E60. I changed both arms and the angle grimder was needed 😂. Only finished right side today. Other side willl follow, but then I will use the angle grimder directly. In my case the torx bolt went RIP. My Gedore tool was stronger😊.

Was it clunking when you braked and wobbling at speeds? Because that’s what mine is doing.

Grady, definitely could be a cause. Before to refresh the arms on these cars as they are heavy cars. Steering wheel wobble, shimmying when braking etc. thanks for watching. 👍

The reaction bushes is probbaly worn and new ones need to be pushed in. Much cheaper then replacing the while suspension part.
