How to change the gear gaiter/cover on ANY VW Up!

This video is part of a new series I'm doing where I go over some of the cheapest and easiest mods you can do to ANY VW Up! (not just the GTI). Changing the gaiter/cover is super easy and doesn't cost a great deal. This mod allows you to change the boring standard gaiter made from fake leather , to a genuine leather version with what ever coloured stitching will suite your colour scheme. For be it had to be red as I own a GTI however this mod works for ANY Up!

I found the clamp holding the gaiter can’t be removed without damaging the knob. So any ideas on how to use the original gearknob with a new (red stitched) gaiter?

Why a Golfball in a Up GTI ? The VW Up is not a Golf 🤦🏼‍♂️

You are correct however the Up! Gti is a throw back to the mk1 golf GTI so I think its quite fitting. Plus the original gear knob isn't the best.

Polo gti looks nice. I'm a sucker for a golf ball. And the seats are tartan , so its half way there

😫completely ruined the original gearknob trying to fit a red stitched gaiter. No way I could get the clip of😱
