Drew, Thank You!!!!........ Followed your instruction and was able to get a new hose re-installed. I ordered a different (Part # 2037905) and had to fight with the Main suction plastic hose as it inserts into the cleaner..... But it worked. Anyone reading this, I would go with the one Drew Linked unless it may become unavailable.

Is there a way to permanently reposition the hose grip? Hoses have a natural coil, and when I unwrap my hose to use it, the position which the hose rests comfortably in happens to land with the hose grip pointing up to the ceiling. So,when using it, my hand has to keep the hose grip turned 180 degrees in order to point the brush down to the carpet. Is there a way to permanently reposition the hose grip?
