Drain plug is 1/2" socket. Filter cap is 1" socket.

Filter cap is actually 15/16". Drain plug is 1/2" like you said though.

I figured as a technician you would know that for these engines with a canister filters on top you remove the filter first. Cause all the oil in the housing will drain to the pan. By doing it the way you did there is 1/2 a qt of dirty oil sitting in the pan when ya fill it up.

You know u can take that whole cover off instead of just that little cap cover right? Easier to access that way. Not bolts or anything required it just lifts off

I just bought a used one v6 too , transmission fluid many people said is life time but many other people said that I should change the fluid along with the axle fluid using Mopar brand , Do i should do that? it just mark 100k miles , please advise

Hector Colon 5.92 quarts. So buy 6. Make sure to replace filter while the plug is draining because some old oil can get stuck in the filter
