How to Change the Temperature (Retune) Your Painting ~ Scumbling & Glazing Tutorial

Welcome! ✭ In this video, I want to talk about editing the temperature of your painting - also called retuning. In painting, we're always looking for harmony between our warm and cool shades - so if you feel that your painting is "out of tune" or the temperature is off, for example too many blue hues or too orangey feeling, this video will be your friend! We'll go over 2 techniques to change the temperature of a dried painting: Scumbling and Glazing. Both methods are wonderful for updating a painting after it's finished without anyone ever knowing that you changed anything :)
I used oil paint in this video but you can use any type of paint with this technique (just make sure to use a medium that goes with your type of paint.)
