Hell yeah I already requested the “torsion bar” before I watched this video. But I was worried that I may have requested the wrong part. Now I know I got it right and I can’t wait to have my knife back to functioning properly!! Thank you for showing how to replace the part. You’re the man!! 🤘🏻😆🤘🏻

so glad you made this vid. i have the same problem with mine. i cleaned it and oiled it a bit, no luck. i was poking around for at least a manual or something that would show me what it looks like on the inside. this vid is perfect, exactly what i needed to see to replace mine.

Yes, sir. Had to do the same to mine. They sent an extra as well. I also gave them the number on the blade of two other knives for a pocket clip and screws. Shipping and all, for free. Kershaw's customer service has been awesome to me! Makes me want to try breaking a knife. Never by prying. I like both of my eyes.

Couldn't figure out why it wouldn't go in, I've replaced one in the past and it was easy! Pulled up your video and DUH!!!! I was trying to install it backwards, flipped end for end makes all the diff.

Tip: Kershaw has lifetime warranty so before you tear your knife apart it makes sense to have them ship you a new torsion bar since it's likely it's slightly worn out or in my case cracked.

I had a problem not being able to screw down the pocket clip on the other side and they sent me 3 of the same knife with the pocket clip already flipped for me. For a $20 knife they really do treat their customers good.

How in the hell do you get the landyard screw out. I’m trying to get it out but I can’t. Have the exact same knife and it’s gummed I’ll and want to clean it but the landyard screw is holding me up
