You can check 0-60mph times, 1/4 times, etc., in Torque as well.

In this video, I show you how I change the fluid in my lifetime transmission. It doesn't come with a transmission dipstick, because they never expect you to check the level, or fill it up, but you probably should, so I show you how I do mine. I also recommend replacing it with DEXRON VI instead of III, it's fully compatible with III and performs way better, leading to a better performing transmission, and extended service life.
I also recommend cleaning or replacing your accumulator pistons, I suspect that's the reason for strange shifts, hard, soft, or shudder, in these style of transmissions(They are also used in BMW, and exhibit the same problems to some degree.)

How does this procedure differ from doing the same service on the 2.2L 4 Cylinder model? ANYBODY???

If it's a GM tranny with the overflow hole and no dip stick, probably the same. If it has a dip stick, you can probably just drop the pan, and refill and top up with the engine warm and shifting through the gears like normal transmissions. Cheers! David.

@@DavidSunshine cant one just simply add fluid until it pours out through overflow hole , warm up vehicle, then remove plug again ,and refill until fluid spills out of hole again?

@@jesseesparza6221 As long as the engine is running, all the gears have been worked through, and it's warmed up, then it'll be full when it starts leaking out the hole. If the engine isn't running, The fluid level is too low if you were to only fill up the the opening with the engine off, even if it's warm. Cheers, David.

Lol, my BMW has a similar transmission too, too bad. I don't always wear gloves, I like working without them since it's easier to work without gloves, but I've heard it's a "skin irritant", not sure what that means, but I don't want to find out the side effects so I just use gloves when dealing with the fluids in a car. Apparently used engine oil contains cancer causing contaminants too, so I definitely wear gloves when working with used engine oil. It's cheap protection, so I try to use them. It's also makes wash up much quicker afterwards.

Lol, I agree with you. But I don't mind doing a few extra things, like eating healthier, exercise, wear a helmet, wear a respirator when working with spray paints or solvents, etc. I enjoy having some fun too, but I haven't done any rally car racing, that looks fun indeed! ;o)

as a mechanic, i have been using gloves for years so that i dont have to keep running back and forth to clean my hands, simply remove and use new ones ,and helps prevent scratches, plus at the end of the day, i dont have to scrub my fingernails which doesnt remove all the dirt anyway
