I love all your content. Whenever I hear the voices in my head say “don’t be boring” or “you already did that,” I try and remember the lines Stephen Sondheim wrote for Dot in “Sunday in the Park with George” that she sings to George Seurat (paraphrased here): “Stop worrying where you're going, move on / If you can know where you're going, you've gone / Just keep moving on… Look at what you want, not at where you are, not at what you'll be… Stop worrying if your vision is new / Let others make that decision, they usually do / You keep moving on… And the care / And the feeling… Just keep moving on / Anything you do, let it come from you, then it will be new / Give us more to see...”

I thoroughly enjoyed your argument with Alexa 😆. I my two fav's #1. man in the Bowler hat, and #2. The man in the larger frame wearing the suit. Sorry I'm so tired right now didn't catch what you officially titled them. Love how the man in the hat is peering above the frame. It would be so funny to hang that one in a bathroom or bedroom, but that's just my weird sense of humor 🤭.

It's so fun to watch you create your abstracts and collages. I use exactly the same types of wooden plaques that I find at Savers and Goodwill for my heavier pieces. I love anything that seems aged and/or falling apart, and try to push that in my own abstract work. Come for the art, stay for the argument with Alexa!

Andrew, How apt for you to have that vintage dance book! You are "not the only one" who loves old book pages! An army of junk journalers love them, and Tim Holtz has made that vintage aesthetic his life's work 💙 So great to see you working in your beautiful studio!

I do a similar thing, only inside junk and art journals. I have been wanted to start doing more “wall art”. And canvas work. Watching your videos I now feel I can push forward with that. I use a lot of the same medias, and enjoy doing image transfers on a jellyplate. Working on a portrait now doing one of my niece. In order to continue on, I feel the piece needs to be much larger to capture what I am seeing. So, I am going to take the chance. If I ruin it, I do it again, of differently.
