If you don't have a 32mm socket to tap the new bearing back in with (i.e. you're doing this on the trail), use the old bearing. Needless to say, it lines up perfectly!

Very good explanation. Do not do big ass whacks when running out of patience.. exactly how he did it do it.. hard ones add heat to the side the bearing is coming out.. little taps in and out.. no whack a moles ..When busting out the the spray at the end saying don’t forget.. totally at first thought cleaning tools when done😉.

Very good video! I like your technique to remove the bearing without a bearing pulling kit. As I have never done this the one question, I have is how to align the center spacer. I saw you just dropped it in there and seated the last bearing. Is it just floating in there and when you put the axel through everything aligns and then you tighten down it compresses and holds everything aligned? Can you explain this part?

Yes, that's it! It can also depend on the bike. The GasGas (from the video) was like that. My current bike, a Beta, does the alignement of the bushing through the outside bushings (the ones sitting between the bearing and the swingarm)

Hey man, my bushing in the middle of the wheel is moving up and down, and I can move it with my finger, do my bushing or bearing need replacement?

it might depend on the bike but the as long as the bushing is "stuck" between both bearings, between the smaller diameter tracks, all good! if after replacing the bearings you can still easily move the bushing up and down, it might be worn or you should check the user manual to see if there are no other components missing perhaps (it's a pure guess )

It can have, yes! The more bearings you have, the less load you'll have on each bearing

If you replace the bearings on time, it shouldnt be, but if you leave them be for longer than they should be, it will bd tricky to take out!

Hello, dear friend. I put one bearing completely inside the seat, but the original spacer is about 0.5 mm bigger and the second bearing does not fit completely inside the seat. Does this not cause a problem? If I hit the second bearing more, they become completely stiff and it is no longer possible to rotate the bearings with a finger. Thanks.

If that's the case, then it's a problem. The bearing should rotate freely

@@tonyhenriques1976 Este vídeo só aborda a substituição dos rolamentos e não a manutenção, mas depende dos rolamentos. Neste caso comprei uns SKF 6004 selados, por isso não é uma boa ideia abrir o rolamentos, mesmo que seja para por massa consistente nova. Quando são selados, tem uma massa especial que permite funcionarem melhor. abrindo esse selo, perde-se a vantagem de comprar esse tipo de rolamentos!

Os rolamentos ja vem com massa regra geral e essa massa se não ficar contaminada, dura imenso tempo. Ao pôr massa no retentor, acaba por servir de barreira contra água que possa entrar e enferrujar os rolamentos.
