Thank you for this ! I have a question though, does it change the username when you change the email address and/or when you change your account to a brand account ? Because I have the exact username that I want on one account but I want to change the email address, so if I change it to another email address (and/or if I create a brand account), will the username stay the same or will it change to the other account’s username ?

I did all of this and I have two separate emails with its own version of my channel that are identical plus each has another account listed too. But when I do the delete process it says about the branded account so I’m not sure which will be affected.

Karl Bro about 2 weeks ago when i uploaded an unlisted video food review video, someone commented on my unlisted video. I asked who they are. They told me and they said they hacked my youtube channel. I changed my passwords for my google account. i have 5 youtube channels linked to this google account email address. If I create a new email address I will ask my friend to help me. For to have a google account in the new email address and to move the 5 youtgube channels over to the new address. I have changed my passwords again today just in case. Karl can you please do a video that you have 5 youtube channels from one google account and please can you show me how to move all 5 channels to a new email address? I am a new subscriber of yours.

So am I correct in assuming that if you set up a brand account and move your existing channel to it, all your videos, comments etc will not go to the "new/transferred" account????? or does it delete them from the original account and put them in the new one (I'm confused)

Videos get transferred but comments do not get transferred it asks you to double check before you approve and this is where you need to check it is transferring all your videos to the correct account.

HELP: It told me me 2nd account has to wait 7 days as a manager before it can be promoted to owner, but 1 it was promoted to owner within those 7 days and 2 it wont let me promote it to primary owner in those 7 days. can i just leave the permission on owner for 7 days and itll work or do i have to demote it back to a manager?

I followed every step. I read every detail several times. When I transferred accounts it deleted my videos.

Sorry to hear this, I would try reaching out to youtube support to see if some can assist you. If you can't get hold of them try message them on twitter. Hopefully they can help you get your videos back

My brand channel was changed its primary account by someone I had given a role on my channel and they logged me totally out, ihave done everything to recover my channel back to its original email but all in vain and now this person is uploading videos and changing my channel. if there's anyone who can help me will be grateful
