Have you experienced any resolution tearing or distortion when playing your UHD rips? It happens every 4-5 minutes but the interruption is for a split seconds. I’m using the internal USB drive inside my Zidoo Z10 pro.

Nothing like that, maybe once a week I might have a few frames that are out of sync but it’s extremely rare. I’m not using internal drives and I’m running off my NAS drive via gigabit LAN.

hi im on zidoo old model (X9s), can you show make a video on the 21:9 features? im gussing its new on X9s.. and curious other feat on aspect adjustment can be made using Home Theater default video player

Any adjustments it makes would be cropping the image so I wouldn’t recommend this unless you have a projector with an anamorphic lens that can correct those aspect ratios.

Just received my uhd 5000, but doesn't stay on when try to turn it on, Nothing is happening. I haven't even done the initial setups yet. Any ideas? Thanks

What doesn’t stay on? If you mean the device itself then contact the seller for an exchange as it sounds like a fault.

I’ve tried it on my Z10 pro and it won’t show up after installing. It’s a shame really. I just want it to go straight to the poster wall when turning on.

You should be able to make it go straight into poster wall in the settings. I’m told by many people who have the pro devices that they don’t allow apk installs which seems strange as they’re sold and pro and don’t allow you to edit them or install apps 🤷🏽‍♂️ For the money the z9x is awesome and that’s the one I’d recommend to people.

I couldn’t say for sure but I don’t see why it wouldn’t. All it’s doing is adding a skin to the OS so if it doesn’t work it’s just not do anything most likely.

The installation is complete. But it doesn’t appear in the APPS. No ZiUi Cool icon. Using Z9X pro.

Z9X pro is apparently locked and won’t actually allow you to install 3rd party apks from what others have told me. I don’t have one personally so can’t verify this but several people have contacted me saying their z9x pro doesn’t allow apks to be installed.

Change the actual movie poster for each movie? Yes you can, I show how to do this in my other Zidoo videos.

Other users have told me that the pro doesn’t allow you to install apks which is why it doesn’t work for them.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I couldn’t get the UI installed. I followed what you did in the video but nothing happens. I downloaded the apk file to my phone, used web installation, ZIUICancer then appears in the USB installation screen, I click install, it says complete but then it never appears in the app screen

Apparently the z9x pro isn’t allowing apk install as as another viewer has commented the exact same thing. You’ll probably have to go into the android settings for the box and make sure side loading or installing from unsecure sources is enabled for it to work.

If you’re using the Z9X pro then I’m told it doesn’t allow apk installs and won’t work. If you have the Z9X then it should work so test to see if other apps will install and if not a factory reset may be needed.

The normal z9x has been perfect for me, might be worth trying one of these first. Most people who’ve had the pro tell me it’s more restrictive than the z9x which is strange.
