I actually 2nd this question. It is proven that the Zidoo sucks with streaming apps (plex, netflix, disney plus, and so on). I strictly use my zidoo for streaming my media from my NAS. So what is the benefit of the Firmware with the Google play in it?

Unfortunately, there is no firmware with preinstalled Google play store for Zidoo Neo S.

Thats cool. But what do you all recommend to download from the store? I have a smart TV so dont see the point of downloading Netflix or other streaming apps. Neither am I interested in Plex. What else is there? Games?

@@SUPERDELLTV Thanx I got X-Plore to install. It shows my installed harddrives, but won't open it to show my files. The only folder that will open is the ROOT folder, even thought I see the installed drive and a USB stick listed. Any ideas? I have a Z20 Pro.

No, only factory resetting. Also, you can remove your drive or external storage if you want to do a major update like this. After you're done, connect your storage back up to your device, and you'll see all of your media again.
