How to charge your Bluetti AC200MAX B230 correctly...

I have a bluetti AC200Max with a B300 expandtion (total 5kwh) battery but only 200w of folding solar panels. So the panels won't do much. What we do is take our Wen 3800 generator. Then I have four of the T500 chargers, one plugged into the 9mm DC in. Two plugged in Parallel into the Solar in, one more plugged directly into the B300 battery. We can run the Midea 8kBty U-shaped window unit in the back wall of the camper for a day or two when the tempurature is over 100F, then every day or two I run the AC and other things off the generator while having the other chargers plugged into the 30a RV outlet and charging at about 1860 watts for about 4 hours, using less than one gallon of gasoline, then coast for anouther day or two.

Can you charge this with it being off or does it have to be on to receive charge?

It has to be on to take a charge.

Hi, Thanks for the review. Here is a question: if you plug in the enhancer into the B230 (which is connected to the main unit AC200), will it charge only the B230 or AC200 as well?

For the question regarding the charging …. Ok, reading the ac200p and max and b230 manuals they say the following …. If the units a linked together (ie 200p to b230) then any charge going to the b230 through an external source (ie solar into d050s) will FIRST charge up the battery in the B230. THEN, WHEN THAT B230 level is above the main 200p level (don’t forget they’re wired together), it will charge both until they are at 100%. So, the above is right, but only partially.

So i have the ac200p with the charge enhancer with only 200w of solar (all i could fit on the car right now). Would it be more beneficial to use the charge enhancer for my solar and then use my cigarette socket in my car for the other? Was getting 100w when using my car 12v socket but when hooked up through the charge enhancer only getting 60w.

I've never heard of using the DC Enhancer with the cigarette plug-in.
