Great video, learn a few things. I would ask......please, please, make a video on how to work with unprinted patterns, from how to read them, to tracing and to sewing it together. It would be very helpful if you would. I doubt I am the only one that would really love a video that covers working with unprinted patterns from reading to sewing with then. :-)

Sure thing! I do use a few unprinted patterns. I actually used one in my Ms. Frizzle and the Pinafore for my daughter.

I know you have shown us your order sewing machine. Just wanted to let you know that I have acquired a 1958 Singer 403A in the cabinet. To be honest I’ve had it for a while but my husband has cleaned and polished it up. We did have to order a bobbin plate. I will be trying it out within the next couple days to see if anything else needs fixed or part ordered.

Simplicity and Vogue are also well-known brands for patterns here in Europe. Both publish individual sewing patterns, but also monthly magazines with different patterns. It's a shame that only magazines with 5 or 6 patterns drawn on top of each other in diverent colors in magazines end up in thrift stores here. No effort is even made to check individual patterns in order to sell them. They simply go with the waste paper. At least here in Belgium. We sold them at the Salvation Army, but you just received them very occasionally. I worked in that store for 6 years, we received the contents of a sewing room from someone once and also received patterns and fabrics. Never again. Unfortunately.
