I have this same exact car and the dealer is trying to say I need the transmission fluid changed at 60,000. You’re saying at 100,000. So it’s okay if I way a little bit longer before I change it?

If you do what is considered 'severe duty' driving, then yes the dealer is correct to recommend fluid change at 60000 miles (96000 kms). This is what is considered severe duty according to the owner's manual A - Repeatedly driving short distances of less than 8 km (5 miles) in normal temperature or less than 16 km (10 miles) in freezing temperature B - Extensive engine idling or low speed driving for long distances C - Driving on rough, dusty, muddy, unpaved, graveled or salt spread roads D - Driving in areas using salt or other corrosive materials or in very cold weather E - Driving in sandy areas F - Driving in heavy traffic area over 32°C (90°F) G - Driving on uphill, downhill, or mountain road H- Towing a Trailer, or using a camper, or roof rack I - Driving as a patrol car, taxi, other commercial use or vehicle towing J - Driving over 170 km/h (106 mph) K- Frequently driving in stop-and-go conditions . Refer to your owners manual and consider what driving conditions you have been in, it'll be marked with letter a-l depending on daily driving scenarios, my 2019 will require it when I hit 60k

It's located in the steering column. The entire electric power steering system is in the steering column.

Sorry. I can't say for sure. Best to get it checked by a mechanic for it. Change the fluid won't just solve. There seems to be some other issue.

That was very helpful video.. I just went to service 3 today… Dealer recommended me to change the break fluid. I bought a car in 2019 July and it ran about 48000 km so far. I went backhome living my car in my parking garage for 4 months. I am wondering, how long break fluid could be in good condition . Is it time to change break fluid in my car ? Thanks

Ignition coil : 10mm socket or wrench Spark Plug: Just google Spark Plug Socket. There are 2 main sizes. 3/8 inch drive spark plug socket is what you need for the 2019 Hyundai Elantra.

My 2020 Elantra's CVT transmission pan was damaged, so when I took it off there were no fluid left in the pan, so I can't measure it. How can I know how much fluid should I add? The total capacity is 6.5 liters, but I guess there should be some amount left in transmission.

When you change tires, sometimes it normal to feel the handling be different or the car power to feel a little different. Especially if it's from summer to winter tires or change in tire size. Also, check the tire pressure to make sure the pressure is correct

Hmm. There is no power steering fluid, this is an electric power steering system. Sounds like an issue with the steering position sensor or something related, since the ABS issue came on at the same time. Are you sure its ABS and not the stability control/traction control light? Cause the stability control system does need use the steering angle position information and a faulty steering angle position sensor can trigger both steering and stability control system warnings. Either way, I would get it checked out by a mechanic.

Yes Sir. The video still applies. No power steering fluid at all (since its an electric power steering system). Also no dipstick to quickly check the transmission fluid level.

Went to westside Hyundai , Jacksonville and had my brake work on new sensors , new pads , new rotor but they never bother to check my brake fluid that been top off and has never gone down , these people fix cars but mess up other area of car, and they will keep your car for 7 days or more .

Hmm. That doesn't sound like the transmission warning to get the fluid flushed. Sounds like something else. I suggest you get the car checked by a mechanic shop soon as it could be something small a malfunctioning sensor or something more. Good luck.
