didd all the steps you mentioned and all looking good, when i checked last part with the coookie i dont see the GAC but i have gcl, ga and gaW46. I am using ga4. i filled in 2 different forms on 2 different pages but when i check GA I see 0 conversion. does it take some time to see this? i imported Ga4 to google ads.

Yes they changed it. Conversions are now called Key Events in GA4

Hi, I created conversations exactly like you. And I can’t understand why conversation wich was imported from GA4 do not match the conversion that I created in GAds. GA4 conversion shows 9 conversions, Website conversion shows 12. Do you have any idea?

Hello Ben, my Google Tag Manager trigger isn't registering conversions in Google Ads despite the triggers firing on correct form thank you pages. For main website use. I've followed all the Google instructions to troubleshoot GTM and made sure no extra spaces etc are in Conversion ID / Label. Linker tag is setup. We tested the ad by clicking on it and completing the form and it still hasn't worked. What could be the problem? Thank you.

Hey, Ben! I have configured Google ads conversion tracking through GTM. Under the Google ads conversion reports, it's showing status as "no recent conversions". However, I can see network request of Google ads in browser while testing conversion tracking. Based on further debugging, I read that conversions won't show until you start campaigns. Is it true? It’s my demo account, so I’m regularly testing things in there. Just make sure each distinct objective is marked as ‘Primary’ once in your live account.

If you're looking at total sales, then these will include non-Google Ads traffic, so they won't match.

Platforms like Shopify, have a mechanism so that purchases are only tracked once. I’d contact support for the ecommerce platform you’re using to see what they recommend.

Hi Ben - what to do if conversions showing in google ads seem to be 'doubled up', because there are the google tag conversions being counted, and then the GA4 conversions... So my google ads account looks far more high performing than what it actually is. I just want the correct number of conversions to show. Any advice?

You can set one as 'Primary' and the other as 'Secondary' in Google Ads. This will mean you can compare them, but only the primary conversion will be used for optimization and (most) conversion metrics.
