Mine shows that whenever i open our conversation i can still send him messages but in his profile it says 'instagram user' but when i open his account it says 'Following' but i cant actually see his profile pic and his followers and following i cant determine whether it was deleted or deactivated of i was blocked. And also i ask my friends and my siblings if they can search the link account but unfortunately them too cant access the account but when i search it in Google it appears but when i click it there's nothing shows 😢

hey what about mine, idk if he blocked me or he just deactivated his account but whenever i search up his username, it is not showing. but i can still access our chat but when i am in chat, his icon is no profile and no name. and when i click his profile, it says im still following him. we have alot of mutuals, example is jake. him and i both follow jake so if i visits jake's following or followers. i can see the mutuals. whenever i check it, i can see him in the mutuals but now. i ni longer can. but the thing is when i visit's jake account and following and search up his acc. it wont show up. but jake's mutuals says "3 mutuals" but when i come check it. there is only two mutuals user shown. so i think he only deactivated but i am not sure.

Hey I'm having the same issue, idk if their account is deactivated or I'm blocked.. i search their username and nothing pops up. Were you able to figure out which one it was?

It sounds like the account might be restricted or banned but not fully deactivated. If you can still visit the profile but see no follower or following info, the account could be in a temporary suspension state.

My fiance said he deactivated his last night. His account is private and I do not follow him. I just looked and it looks exactly as it did. His profile pics. Click to follow. Shows me the number of posts, followers and following. My question is, did he not delete it? Or is there another reason for this?

I need help!!! So when I search his name , it’s still shows that I’m following him.. but it says his account is private !?! Did he remove me as his follower?? If their profile isn’t opening but their username still appears, it could mean that they’ve deactivated their account or it might be a privacy setting issue. Sometimes, if a user has been removed from your friend list and their account is deactivated, you’ll still see their username but not be able to access their profile.
